FAQs
Common Questions We Encounter
We know that exploring a sale raises a lot of questions. Here are the ones we are asked most often — answered honestly.
Will my business be kept confidential?
Yes. Any conversation we have stays between us unless and until you decide otherwise.
Do I have to sell to talk to you?
No. Plenty of owners we speak to are simply exploring what’s possible. There’s no pressure and no obligation at any stage.
What happens to my team?
We buy businesses because of the people in them, not despite them. We’re looking to strengthen the team already there, not dismantle it.
Will I need my own advisers?
That’s entirely your choice, and we’d encourage you to have someone in your corner if it helps you feel comfortable. What we won’t do is make the process more complicated than it needs to be on our side.
How long does the process usually take?
Every business is different, but because we do our own due diligence directly, we’re often able to move faster and with fewer delays than a traditional process involving multiple external advisers.
What if my business doesn’t fit what you’ve listed?
Have the conversation anyway. Our published criteria describe where we’re focused first — not a hard line we won’t cross for the right business.
